Earlier this weekend my order from Candysan came in. For those of you who don't know, candysan is a Japanese based company that specializes in Japanese snacks and gashapon. Everything on the site is priced incredibly low and they have a huge selection thats always changing. I highly suggest checking them out!
The package came in a huge box (which makes sense for how much i ordered(*´∀`*))
This is what it looked like when i opened it
The paper is a thank you note and includes a bit of information on them and their social media. They also included a little Hello Kitty lollipop as a bonus surprise! This is apparently normal for the company and i think it's super sweet (⋈◍>◡<◍)。✧♡
Below that, i saw that everything i ordered was packaged really well. It was packed pretty tight so that nothing could move during shipping, a very good thing when i have fragile items with nice packaging.
This was on the very top. its a Yaokin Pack (small) which promises two umaibo and a selection of other small snacks. For a small size its actually bigger than I expected and i can't wait to crack into it. I should point out that some of the things in this pack were visibly melted but that was my fault for ordering in the summertime (๑꒪̇⌄꒪̇๑)
This was the next thing i pulled out. Its called Takoyaki Tei and as the name suggests, its a Takoyaki flavored snack from Frito Lay. Now, i've had Takoyaki once before (something i'll post about some other time) and i absolutely loved it so I have pretty high hopes for this snack. My Ada also works for Frito Lay so i love trying their foreign products and sharing with him.
Next was my Umaibo! These look so yummy and were only $0.14 so i got a couple. The flavors are Takoyaki, Chocolate, Sugar Rusk and Chicken Curry.
Then i pulled out this. Its called Elise- Star Wars and it appears to be some sort of biscuit filled with chocolate (maybe similar to Pejoy?) I'll be honest, I bought this more for the package than anything*:゚*。⋆ฺ(*´◡`). I grew up watching Star Wars and so i've always loved Star Wars products. Hopefully it's as good as its box.
Next was the first of my DIY kits. This one is Poppin' Cookin' Pudding Parfait. I hadn't seen this before so I figured it must be new and wanted to try.
This next one is Happy Kitchen Taiyaki and Odango. I like a lot of the traditional Japanese sweets i've tried and this just looked so cute!
The next one also seemed fairly new. It's from the same company that made the Toilet Candy only this one is a washing machine! How Cute!
The last DIY kit was one i've wanted for a while now. It's Poppin' Cookin' Tanoshii Ramenyasan which lets you make ramen and gyoza. Making the noodles seems really cool so I'm excited to see how that works.
Next I pulled out a bottle of Ramune. I love this stuff (strawberry has always been my favorite) but i've never seen a blue one. Its called Blue Sky so i don't even know what to expect. The bottle is plastic too which i think is weird as normally they're glass.
Next I pulled these out. They're Ramen in soy sauce and seafood and soy sauce flavor, but the best part is the packaging! It's Pokemon! Pokemon is another thing I grew up on and still love today, so naturally I had to try these.
In addition to the ramen, I got some Pokemon curry. Too cute!
That was my package! I got some really nice things that i would have never been able to get in stores. Shipping only took about 3 weeks which is pretty common for packages from Japan and it was well worth the wait. Check them out if you'd like
